Facilities

Delta 200 airfield is situated in beautiful surroundings, only 30 minutes from Cape Town centre off the R27 West Coast road. The airfield is also in the General flying Area, so no training time is wasted. Click here for Road Map.

Ground school lectures are given on the premises. Most solo training is done at Fisantekraal Airfield. Only 10 mins flying from main base.

For out-of-town or overseas students, accommodation can be offered

Aircraft:
Two Windlass trikes and a Jabiru 2-seater is available for NPL training, but students are welcome to use their own aircraft. For upgrading to PPL, the same Jabiru can be used or a Jabiru J400 is available.

Windlass Trike: Open cockpit, tandem seater, adapted for training purposes. Used for Microlight weight-shift training. Wonderful for sightseeing flights.

(2-seater) is a modern, lightweight composite fibre aircraft. Australian manufactured, but locally assembled at the factory in George, it is the future of general aviation training. It has a Jabiru 80hp engine, which is low in maintenance, making flight training more affordable. Using only about 15 liters Avgas per hour, it beats driving!

(4-seater) is the big brother of the SP. With a 120hp Jabiru engine and the latest instruments, this is an ideal upgrade trainer and a pleasure to fly.

Instructors:
peter.jpgThe owner and Chief Flying Instructor, Peter Müller-Brunke has been flying for nearly 30 years and is a Grade A Microlight instructor and a Grade 2 PPL instructor. Three other instructors train on a contract basis for Wings over Africa.
